Default Bryant 3.886 stroke crank with honda journals or a standard 4" Callies Dragonslayer?

Hi guys,
I am looking for some input about an engine build.
I currently have the Bryant crank with the honda rod journals (1.850). This would build a 396" combo. I was figuring that I should be able to spin the shit out of the bryant crank and that the shorter stroke would probably help with that as well.

The other option is to use a 4" callies dragonslayer with conventional 2.1 inch rod journals. This would give me a 408" engine, which has been done a million times.

I think the cost will come out about even. I have a partial set of rods and pistons to use with the 408 combo (UPS lost a rod and piston).

The combo is going to be N/A (4" bore using a 6.0L block) and I am going to try spin it to 9-10 000 rpm.

Sticking with the advanced tech part...
Would the shorter stroke and smaller rod journals help to spin the engine? Are the 1.850 journals able to hold up to high RPMS?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Spin a motor high RPM's = changing valve springs a lot!

Spinning a motor high = changing motors a lot. Shit doesn't last at that kind of RPM.

I would use less stroke and more bore if it was my motor.

Do the 4": crank. That will give you a 402, not a 408. You have to bore the block .030" over to get the 408. You will have a much happier motor making more useable torque and power at lower rpm with more cubic inches.
