Default Sound clip for those thinking about this cam 230/230 111+2

I have qtps with an ORY, and stock catback with a 3.5in cutout...

First is through stock exhaust, then with the cutout open...

What you think?

Yikes that sounds really good! Two questions (one is a repeat from above): 1. Is that tuned? 2. How are the street manners with that one?

From a sound standpoint, I'm looking for something very similar to that and I have the exhaust setup to get it. I guess the next step for me is to see if it fits well with the goals I have for my car.

yes the car was tuned at speed inc yesterday...And no that is the time when i was stock internal...she is a strong runner...should hopefully get around high 10s with the same -800 da...i dunno what it was making before the cam but now it is putting 422hp and 394 tq to the ground...

street manner are great so far... no surging or lurking at any rpm...seems to be an excellent cam that is exactly what i wanted both high tq and hp numbers...i would love to have an Ms3 but for the street it would be way down on torque...i would definitely recommend this cam...

i need to check the idle with autotap but the cluster reads around 950...it is a little high but i kinda like it a little higher due to my stereo and running 2 amps...dunno how accurate the cluster is...

it is extremely streetable and i have just a ss3600 stall and stock 3.23 gears...almost drives like before the cam but has alot more power and a little higher idle...pre cam my idle was 750-800 due to stereo and the 25% UD pulley...

again i am extremely happy with the power and street manners...awesome cam for sure...here is a dyno sheet look at the flat tq at 4k-6k

^^yup he sure did the only thing that i would have change from the initial spec out is instead if 111+4 i would get it ground 111+2 so the clearances on intake and exhaust are a little more balanced....i achieved this by retarding it 2 degrees so my 111+4 is now a 111+2...this way i had around .086 clearance on the intake as apposed to .072...awesome cam that has way more tq and hp than the torquer2 which i was thinking about getting...

if you are think torquer 2 or 3 i would definitely check this grind out...

it likes the ss3600 just fine the difference i feel is less throttle for the same speed on the street...i wouldnt go any smaller than a ss3600 but we all know how tight the ss yank converters are...ideally i wish i had a ss4000 but i am still happy with what i got...
