I bought this intake for my truck(S-10). Turbo LS6. Truck should be on the dyno within a few months as I am still debating on trans. It had a 4L60 in it last year, now I have a glide, or a Th350....

here is a pic of the motor:

I think it will do quite well.

If there is any independent testing, comparing to stock or other aftermarket manifolds, I'd like to see that. Also, can EPP address concerns about injector fitment? There have been some reports that the new style "skinny" injectors fit fine, but that minor clearancing might be required for the older Bosch injectors. There are probably a lot of people like me who are on the fence about this manifold. If a trusted/reputable vendor could give us the real scoop on these, I'd be ready to whip out my credit card and make the call.

It will not fit under the stock C5 hood. Bob
Ive been really wanting this manifold for my C5. Can a stock hood be modified or will only an aftermarket cowl hood work? Also, can one use a LS2 TB with it and stock fuel rails? Thnx.

i really wish Edelbrock could lower it owe so slighty to fit the GTO.
perhaps decrease plenum volume a slight bit.

Yes, you are correct in your recollection. However, that guy had to make himself some custom motor mounts and drop the height of the engine doing soomething else as well. I cant recall what it was besides the motor mounts. The manifold sits about 1-2inches too high, sadly.

Like i said\asked, perhaps Edelbrock can make a shorty version with a slightly smaller or shorter\elongated plenum, to fit the rest of our cars. even if it knocked off a couple hundred RPMS of the power band, down to say 6k rpm froms 6.5k rpm's, that would be cool with me. Probably cool with many, i would bet.

Or better yet drop the plenum by 2 inch's (change the run connections to the top of the plenum instead of the bottom).
That would allow it to keep both runner length and plenum volume.

To bad you can just cut the runners off invert the plenum and weld it back together...

I'm still wanting to know what fuel rails fit right with this intake????? I know the Professional Products rails do not line up with the given holes in the intake.

i ended up just using the rails that are for the intake from edelbrock, they take the ls1 injector size. rails and injectors fit with no problem.

Do you have a part # because I can't find any info on what rails go with the kit. Summit doesn't list them that I can find. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.
