That sounds like the throttle body is too small, or it has a restriction in front of it.
I definitely need to do some testing on the dyno. I have a volant CAI with a 4" silicone tube (MAF'less) to a 90mm UMI throttlebody. I think it maybe the CAI, but not too sure.
