The intake will definately change the tune. You will bennifit from tuning the car when you install it, but is it absolutely necessary, no.

Whats done to the motor? That will impact the potential tho it should do you well in any event. The LS2 intake is not exactly the best flowing intake, an LS6 will will top it with both in stock form if i'm not mistaken.

Did this with a GM head and pump gas!
Ok, got a couple of questions:
1) Whats the difference between a FAST 90 & 92?
2) Does a FAST 92 TB fit on a FAST 90 intake?
3) When you guys tak about porting the FAST intake, do you need the heads to match it?
4) Can you powdercoat a FAST intake or is it not recomended?
5) I asked more than a couple of questions, will only the first 2 get answered?
Thanks guys!
Chad

1) It comes with stainless steel hardware, it has inserts added to make installing the throttle body much easier, it has a 92mm opening.
2) Yes it will bolt up, you make have to port match the 90 to a 92mm.
3) Not really, I think most people basically remove the hump in the end of the runner to get most of their gains.
4) I dont know about powdercoating, but you can have it painted. Lots of people do that
5) No
