Those are sexy, any plans for a LSx to Fox mustang swap header? Kooks wants $699+ for theirs. If you guys could get a set to market for even $550 they would sell.

They look good. I may change my mind about getting some 1-7/8 AR headers. Any comparison dyno numbers yet?

I have a question...are these headers for l92 / ls7 (rectangle port) heads only?

no. they will work on any LS motor. The rectangle ports refer to the intake, not the exhaust. However, the exhaust ports on L92 and LS7 heads are larger than the standard 1 3/4", so 1 7/8" are better for those applications.

I want to get these but have a stock engine. how bad will it hurt my low end, or overall power if I keep them on for a while before going with a supercharger or larger engine? I dont want to have to buy headers twice...

Thanks
Nate

This isnt the place to ask questions on how they affect your particular setup. Post a new thread or search for those details.

Im sure they will answer any questions regarding the headers themselves.

Im in the same boat and was about to ask the same question. I know 1 7/8 may be over kill, but the price amazing for these headers. Could TSP please respond?

Heck, I just want them to respond to my email so I can order. After all, they list their emails on the web site. Don't list it if you won't do it.

If you'll shoot me an e-mail I will get to it as soon as possible.

As for using them on a stock displacement short block, mild heads/cam combo...in my opinion, they are overkill. But if you plan on adding some cubes down the road, adding a power adder, bigger heads/cam, etc then I think you'll be fine in the meantime with the larger primaries until you get those mods.

Email sent.
The headers are now ready to ship, right? I just noticed they've been advertised as ready to ship for over a week now, but nobody is claiming to have received them yet.

I want to see some dyno numbers on a comparison on a big cube motor from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8. I have only had the small tubes a year. I want to see that it warrants another set of busted knuckles.

If TSP will cut me a deal, I'll do exactly that. They can even decide if they want me to use a Vengeance ported FAST 92/PTM 92 (ordering tomorrow when I order the long tubes) or the LS6 intake that is on it now. Car currently has Pacesetter 1 3/4" long tubes.

Matt, wanna cut a deal for a real-world dyno test? My tuner has agreed to do it already. Heck, I'll do dyno testing for the dyno kiddies, and then real-world results: track times. For those with balls!

There are no plans for an 1 7/8" primary C5 header as far as I know (haven't heard any talk of one around the shop).

Definitely let us know how you like them. Are you swapping from stock manifolds or from an 1 3/4" primary header?
