Default 427 stoker muffler recommendations?

Ok, I currently am running 3.5" dynomax bullets dumped under the car. It is horribly loud. But sounds great. I am moving into an apartment and need to get something that my neighbors will be able to tolerate and still sounds good to me. Anyone have suggestions? I have noticed there is a huge difference in the sound levels from my stock motor to this stroker. Anyone with a stroker that has a great sounding and performing exhaust that is tollerable, please chime in.
Thanks

I am probably going to take them out the back. It's just too much motor to keep it dumped. It resonates so bad now, and I don't think that it would get much better regardless of the mufflers I use. I just want it to sound good and not be overbearing.

A second vote for magnaflows. Great sound, great flowing, but not to obnoxious.

are there any sound clips to strokers with magnaflow mufflers? I have done alot of looking and not found anything. Plus I am going to probably leave the dynomax bullets on the car too. It's just so loud with them i don't think it's worth having them cut off.

I have a custom dual 3" exhaust system that uses 2 edelbrock SDT mufflers and an X pipe and it dumps out the sides just in front of the rear tires. It's about the same volume as my Magnaflow catback and off road Y pipe was at idle. It's a lot louder at WOT though. The system was built by Performance Auto Fab in Maryland. They're a site sponsor and they do really nice work. I can probably do a sound clip/video when I get back from vacation on Tuesday. I think it sounds pretty good.

How many CI are you running. My biggest problem is the CI and compression this beast is putting out. My stock motor sounded good with straight pipes. This motor is just obnoxious with even the dynomax bullets.

I am looking for some answers to this question as well. Right now I have dual cutouts at the end of the headers but I am running through my stock exhaust on my 441. Believe it or not but on the dyno through the full exhaust I am loosing 100 RWHP!! I'd just like to get some nice sounding exhaust without giving up too much HP! Traver

I'm running these on our 408 and they really tone the sound way down. It still is deep and throaty, but it's not at all obnoxious to drive on the street. They are quieter than the Borla XR1s I had before these and they tuck up real nice.

I took a pair of super 44's and cut the taper portion off until it was 3.5 inch and welded 3.5 inch pipe to them, and ran a dual 3.5 inch exhaust. I don't have any sound clips I'm sorry, but it's pretty damn quiet, quiet enough so I could drive around with it I think. The muffler case is only 4 inch so it's decent in the ground clearance department.

I am also wondering how much quieter it would be if I ran my current exhaust out the back. I would be adding probably 4ft of exhaust on both sides. It might quiet thing down quite a bit especially since it wouldn't be bounching the sound right off the ground.
