Well you must remember, on alot of the newer GMs (most now) that they do not have a MAF "housing" anymore. its just the sensor itself on the tube now.

Cool, so it sounds like we're a tb away from a real good comparison.

I just think it is funny.....

The LS7 version has been in stock at various places now for about 2 weeks and other the Ragins test no one single person has installed one and posted any type of results. What does it take a full day at the most?

Personally I think it is because the other results are the same as Ragin has found. People love to post gains but aren't very quick to post when there isn't any or they are very low.

On CF there are a few other shops that have done the testing as well and all have similar results as Ragin.

Yeah that is what I was figuring as well. In the past when FAST has came out with a product it wasn't a day or two and the graphs were everywhere. Funny how the nutswingers disappear.

I didn't even think to look over on the CF.

Want to see some pics of the Fast Intake. We will have more test results this week on a different car with our Stalker Cam. Must say it looks like there is not much to port, but we are working on it. We spent 3 hrs last night working on it in our spare time. We really would like to see this thing to work somehow over our LS7 ported intakes.

I expect greater Gains on the LS3/L92. The LS7 Manifold is pretty well built. However I thought it would have more Gains on a bigger Cube motor such as this. ill cross my fingers for the LS3 Version.

Thanks for posting up the numbers...

Good testing. It's tough to beat a ported LS7 intake, an intake already pretty well designed. Maybe a throttle body will wake it up, but it would have to be a pretty larger difference to justify the cost.

Ive never been a fast fan but come on people! You can have a bad ass intake and if you have too small of a TB on that intake you wont gain anything! The TB will choke it down! The person that started the thred needs the right TB b4 he can get true gains

The manifold was tested with a 100mm TB on an engine dyno. It LOST low/midrange torque and only gained 3 or 4 peak rwhp.

That is what I went for. I wanted my 427 to look like it rolled off the showroom floor.

I'd be pissed if I bought a manifold, TB, Fuel Rails, etc based on "advertised" numbers and it showed the same results that Ragin got. I think it will speak to integrity.

Copied from the corvette forum

The bigger TB showed no power gains and a lost of 3.6lbs of torque from 2,800 to about 5,200 and flat the rest of the way.

The Fast ported showed no gains over the ported LS7. In fact, the unported Fast gave up some TQ to the ported LS7.
