i just installed the camshaft today everything went smooth camshaft is dead on i marked the chain in 2 spots, i have done over 100 hemi swaps so i was sure to get the timing dead on..
either way its a loud knock and i can hear it on what i think both sides like a lifter..
5 monthes ago i was driving the car and it just started doing this same sound out of the blue.. then it went away after about 5 minutes of driving..
also when i pull the fuse for the fuel pump and crank it over with no fuel and just the starter it makes no noise..
any ideas?
i have a vid coming

I see the problem in your sig, you have a flowmaster.... jk could be a rocker arm not torqued all the way or could be a bad lifter i guess. Did you replace them?

did you check the pass side? Dont know if I missed that. Just to make sure a spring didnt pop. Also why not some HP behives with that cam. Maybe spin the crank by hand could help determine where its at. Hope you find it.
You said it stopped when you disabled the fuel pump, you may have an injector knocking. Unplug one injector at a time to see if it goes away.

It doesn't matter if they got unplugged or not, the noise is a hammering type sound from an injector that has a problem, just something easy to check.
