X2, By the time I have the money I may as well spend the extra on the tall deck.

How does that compare to a standard aluminum block?

maybe be a stupid ? but do these bolt up to after market k members (bmr) or even stock k members?

custom headers? or will kooks 1 7/8 work ( i know they'll choke it)

what is the standard cid they are offered in? do you offer 470cid+ for n/a?

They have not been tried yet for max CI. They are just like any LSX block in the way they bolt up to an LS vehicle....stock mounts. The NEW block comes with a slightly smaller starting bore, that can be finished out with a 3.622 crank for a 346....we have built them to a 468 before off of a 4.185 bore. Hint: it takes alot of stroke to pull that one off. These newer castings will be insteresting, but if there is just a little more room like gm says, then 470+ CI from this standard deck would not be too much of an issue. Trying to go much more than that is probably pushing it IMO

these are just the blocks themselves, so headers will have to match the heads/cam/CI combo. 1 7/8 is recommended on anything like this really to start.

Robin L posted today that the Tall Deck blocks are shipping. Do you have any info on this?

Can't say that I blame you guys for that. Many times things don't leave the warehouse as planned.

And it's really a pain since once people think they are availabe it's your fault that they are not there yet.

My boys told me last week that they were shipping........hence my post.

I bet they sell out quicky once they hit the door

Robin

I like the traditional block over the tall deck.
