Default LSX-R GM heads?

Im thinking about ordering the LSX-R LS3 heads that GM has came out with. My question is they have the extra bolts for the LSX block but can I still use them on an LQ9 without them bolts?

The original 10 bolts in all "6" bolt heads are in the conventional spot, so you can use a 6(18) bolt head anywhere a 4 (10) will go.

They heads that are surfacing first are supposedly going to be the LSX-LS7 heads. I have no ETA on the LSXLS3 heads atm. You could use them on a regular block yes, just do not use the bolt holes.
