Thumbs up Beck LS7 Cross-Ram Intake

I picked up my newest piece of engine jewelry yesterday, from Beck's here in Houston. I had John build a custom 1 of 1 billet CNC runner cross-ram style intake, to dress up the 427ci LS7 that I am putting in my pro-touring 1969 Camaro SS. We went with longer runners than normal to give a nice boost in midrange torque, since this car will be a cruiser. I wanted something more exotic on top of this engine, other than a factory style intake.

Here are some pics of Beck's shop where he builds the intakes and CNC billet parts.

These are some other intakes I saw being built:

I like it a lot Tony. The long runners will help make monster mid-range torque. Should breathe well up high based on how well the Beck manifolds flow. This approach to having the plenum on top vs. bottom would make this difficult to fit in a 4th Gen F-body or C5/6, but for your 1st gen, it makes all the sense in the world.

Great design layout. That's the style of intake runner I've had running in my mind for several years now. I'm just not the guy to build it. Gongratulations to Beck's for engineering and executing such a functional intake.

Wow. That is just f-ing wicked looking. Is everything he does custom; or does he pre-fab pieces for certain setups?

Everything Beck builds is custom, including all the flanges etc..

He used to take some of our stock manifolds and Gt-40 manifolds and do custom sheetmetal boxes and things for us...

$4K range actually, since it was the first one built and a lot of CNC programming and calculations were used.

Thats a fair price for what you received. What a work of art. VERY curious to how the power curve is effected by this intake.
