Well of course it's clean. It's only been on the dyno. As far as car show, if I don't have time to drive it, then either there or in the GMPP booth (although this car is far from show material). It will still have plenty of finish work to be completed after the Shootout.
Somehow though, I think if I can't drive it, it won't be hard to find someone who will be willing.
Derek, you'll be too busy wrangling cars to the lanes. I do have a couple guys who have expressed interest in driving it including Dr. Meyer from GMPP, but I may put a ringer in there, so I/we can put REDGAR on the trailer early.
I remember that final, standing in the water box. No mistaking who left first!

No need to do that. Just an observation, and as any good racer will tell you, the situation can be reversed in the very next pair. Drag racing can easily be the question of "what have you done lately?"
Scott,
I figured it was a long shot. I'll just be happy to see the Buick out and about!

If Scott brings his Buick, I'll really be sour that my car won't be ready in time...it's great to see NJ is well-represented. I hope Texas and the Midwest come to the party.
Hey Scott,
If you're really nice, I'll let you drive it. That's only if you bring along a pair of tail light bezels and lenses. Oh and a headlight switch too. Got a back seat laying around? If so can you bring it too?

That sounds like a whole lot of optional equipment.
Engine... check
Steering wheel... check
Drivers seat... check
Brakes... ummmm.. I don't use them that much anyway.
