Bobby Lashley had his Dover White 427 NA Camaro running 8.80s@ 152mph.. Bobby got 4 passes in over the weekend. His last pass Saturday night put an end to his weekend when his crew decided to loosen up the suspension a bit to put on a show for the crowd. This ended up putting the Camaro ON the rear bumper with all four tires in the air. Fortunately damage was limited to cracking the transmission case and some paint missing from the rear bumper...
Keith Berry brought his Vengeance built BMF Motorsports C5 Z06. This was Keiths first time out in the 1/4 and also the first time spraying his new combo. Hitting it with a 300 shot netted an 8.92@154mph on a 1.29 60ft time!!!! We are still working out some bugs with the nitrous controller/RF interference. There should be some 8.70s in this combo once we get the controller sorted out. Then we will bring in the 2nd stage Congrats to Keith for hitting 8s his first time out and for breaking the C5 IRS 60ft record!!!
Finally Jan Ruble in his 2006 GTO made some shakedown passes with his new combo. Jan has been racing his GTO for a little over two years, but recently made some changes and this was the first time out with the new combo. Jan clicked off a 9.43@143mph on a 1.43 60ft. Looking at Jans datalog there is LOTS left in this 3700lb lead sled!!! We should be seeing Jan touch 8s in the coming weeks!!! Jan is hoping to be THE FIRST GTO in the 8 second zone EVER!!! Stay tuned for updates as we get back to the track.
Thanx for a great weekend guys!! It was good meeting so many new racers/enthusiasts!!!
Big thanks to Vengeance Racing, John @ Fast, TCI, Steve Johnson, Pfadt, RPM Transmissions, Hank Hill, Proline, Bell Chassisworks, & everyone else involved with the car. It's starting to show some big #'s.
Also, Doug is not sitting steady so get that second stage set guys...
Very impressive showing for you guy's though....EFI Hot Street for ORSCA North....PLEASE?
Calm down slippy! I think he was referencing the 60'. We talked to Doug and were/are very impressed with his times.
Boweryboy's 8.54 is still the record but don't plan on it staying that way. Doug and I are both obviously gunning for it. I wish Doug all the luck in going for it. This is our goal also.
I know Johnny Fenn and the Pritchett Brothers are working on a lot of things. Hopefully Hot Street for you Yankees is one of them. lol

Ron it was great seeing y'all and I hope your tooth is feeling better. Keiths car is awsome without a doubt. I love hearing that thing launch at (what?) 9k rpm's...? I see that thing breaking some records shortly. Jans car is great as always. I really thought he could click off a 8 that weekend but I guess it wasnt to be.
I havn't even looked at it yet, I think it is a torque tube bearing, but without looking at it...
You might end up taking the 60' record for the winter, I am focusing all my time on a customers 25.2 car that we are almost finished with, plus we are swamped. We are trying to get it dialed in for 10.5 outlaw classes, but we are running out of season quickly, so I dont know if I will get mine back out before the weather hits. I'm going to try though!
Good luck with it, hopefully we can line em' up sometime.

Sorry Ron this was not for show. Car has never performed this type wheel stand ever. Normal wheels up about a foot and 1.22 60' are the norm
Go to www.prolineraceengines.com for the video of this wheelstand. Case was busted, internal damage to the drums also. TCI is putting it back in shape as I type this. By the way I will re-install the training wheels on the back, lol.
