Lee Saunders would have won last year but he missed a checkpoint and was disqualified. I was with Lee at the track last month and his car is running strong.

Lee still posted the best times of the day since they let him run but it did not count. Who are you picking to win this year?
He aslo did it with 2 hours between passes and noone tested his fuel.
The finals were ran 16 minutes after the semi's and they were trying to make us run it even faster.
Lee seems like a stand up guy, he didnt bitch much when they DQed him.
I have a few buddies that work for Heffner from when his shop was up here in Maryland. Wish those guys the best this year, they are the favorites for sure.
Look out for the white and blue 2nd gen. Trans Am.

This weekend Lee is road racing & I am going to be in Bradenton getting in a few runs in the Street Warriorz series with my 69. Not sure what he was doing mattrick, maybe banging his head for missing the dam checkpoint.
That Trans Am not only looks bad ass I love the white and blue combo.
Lee barely made the cruise after showing up with rubber valve stems in the front wheels. Guess he was still gather his thoughts when he missed the point. They were decently marked.

Not sure if www.hotrod.com has a list of the top ten from last year.
