 Hey from mid-Michigan
Hey guys, I've been a lurker for a while with no real reason to join up until now. I spend a little time on the Pro-Touring board but with my work schedule I don't have a lot of free time for surfing.
Anyway, back to the reason I joined. I bought a red '94 Formula V8 in August. It runs real well with only 90K on it. My wife replaced the rusty crossflow with a Flowmaster so it sounds real good now too.
This past weekend I picked up a 2002 Collectors Edition WS6 RA TA. I am the 3rd owner and the car has 76K on it. The previous owner added a set of SLP long tube headers with their Y-pipe and no muffler. (it is pretty loud). I got a flowmaster muffler with the car he was going to use but hadn't installed yet.
I need some advice as to what the better set-up is for this. I have heard Magnflow is a good sounding muffler for the LS1 but I have no idea at this point what would better.
Any suggestions/experience?
