actually bugatti tweaked the car to end all that talk.

They have past the line of engineering and gone to complete and brutal force. There are no words for the monster they have created so one must simply push the accelerator and hope not to die.

That car is hideous. Its basically a homemade kit car, that doesn't share any of the amenities as the Veyron! Look at the front end. Its disproportional to the rest of the body.

ssc already spoke of the veyron anyhow. they agreed that these are 2 completely different cars. the ssc guys said this was a car made to be fast and thats it. they then said the veyron was jsut a really really fast luxury car.

I saw a video where they raced a bunch of difference european supercars and the bugatti just walked away from them. It's very heavy, idles like any factory car but just has 1000+ horsepower. The car is awesome.

I was checking out that exact car outside work one day, sounds incredible when it fires up.

You are almost accurate in that statement. The Veyron's curb weight per horsepower is 4.5 lbs. The McLaren is about 4.0 lbs. The Veyron is faster, but not by much. And it only took them 4 turbos and over 18psi of boost to get there.

Not to mention the fbody owner will at least drive their car, while the Veyron owner will just look at it. I hate people that treat cars like a piece of art. If you don't appreciate a car for its machinery, performance, technology, etc. And you aren't going to drive it, then don't buy the damn thing. Imagine you had to be on a waiting list to buy a car you really wanted to drive, but you had to wait for some asshole to buy it first that is only going to park it in their garage?

What a credible source of information. NO official time and the chief engineer just guessed. But yet in the latest Car and Driver, they ACTUALLY tested the new Veyron as 0-200 mph in 25.5 seconds.

Now there is another article from last year about the Hennessey Viper BEATING the Veyron from 0-200 mph. Guess what the Viper's time was? 20.3 And guess what the Veyron was recorded at? 24.2.

And yes, there are other articles that say the same stupid statement you are saying. But from what I see, they are all because some moron chief engineer gave false and UNOFFICIAL information. The idiot probably thought the question was about kph, not mph.

But just to be on the safe side, I will call up Car and Driver, and any other magazine that tested the Veyron from 0-200 mph at about 25 seconds and ask them if they know how to drive and test vehicles. Especially since your source of information came from the Internet in a written statement rather than an actual road test.

And as I stated before, the Veyron is 4.5 lbs per hp verse the McLaren which is 4.0 lbs per hp. I don't know about you, but I took physics in school. And considering all of the information including the drag coefficient of these cars, your precious little turbos are not getting the Veyron to 200 mph faster than a McLaren does from 120-200. And to further show your ignorance, the Lingenfelter 2006 Z06 427 TT with 1,100 rear wheel horsepower does 0-200 mph in 18.34 seconds. That is more horsepower and less weight than the Veyron, but yet you still want to believe that the Veyron is somehow magically getting to 200 mph in less than 20 seconds?

That's not how the turbos work at all
Each turbo must make 16psi, that math doesn't work with physics.
They probably used 4 turbos for VOLUME, not pressure.
4 smaller turbos feeding more air into the engines than 2 larger ones that spool slower.

id rather get a koeniggeseg, or the saleen s7 1000hp version, or a Pagani Zonda F Clubsport, Ferrari Enzo, i could keep going, these cars actually look like super exotic hyper cars, that thing looks so big fat and chunky. 1000 hp with quad turbos, whats so impressive??? Ferrari Enzo has 660 hp with a 6 litre (about 365 ci) N/A engine, and its wayyy older too, it came out in 2001/2002.
