Automotive News, Media & Press - New Magazine?

Hey guys, I am juggling the idea of starting my own magazine/web show. Im not exactly sure what route I am going to take but reviewing cars , sports cars trucks etc would be an option although sports cars are my personal favorite. I would like to have some feed back as far as what you all look for in magazines etc. Any advice, I would like to also possibly make a web show maybe monthly hopefully this works out and takes off and can become more frequent. I have a couple of buddies and I and we are utter car nuts. Me in particular. I am aiming at appealing to a mass audiance females included. So what ever the gender what ever your taste throw me some feedback and Ill work on trying to make this happen.

to start a magazine on auto's, you really need to find a niche. because it will be damn near impossible to compete with the Motor Trends of the world. I think a magazine like GM High Tech is something you should consider. A solid base, with enthusiasts that buy that magazine because its directed towards the exact cars we buy and modify. That niche isn't easy to find... A couple years ago I started a thread on here somewhere about someone making an LS1tech magazine but I think some people explored that idea and it didn't fly. gm truck performance only, DO IT

Well I didnt really want to focus on just an area specific of cars. BUT I would consider doing a GM only cars magazine or domestics.

Do a magazine on street racing...probably have to find some loop holes but that would be interesting...also might try a magazine that only logs drag racing new cars and add one mod at a time and rerun. I'm getting interested in drifting. I also like the idea of diesel powered cars. There's a couple ideas to get you started.
