I am starting to build a 350 for my 1955 bel air. I need help coming up with a combination tho I alright have a 010 4 bolt block and a set of 64cc 210 Pro Comp Heads and the springs are good to .550 lift. I want to run pump gas and I want a cam with a nice lope. Would flat top pistons be about my only opitions to keep the compression down? Also can anyone recomend a cam I have been told the pro comp heads dont flow good on the exhaust side? And finally could I run a .550 lift cam with 1.6 rockers or is that to much for my springs?

One this you have to remember, when you talk about the lift for a cam... its counting that with 1.5 rockers... Unless the head company specificly says that the .xxx lift is with 1.6's

i have a whole valve train assembl up for sale. Bullet solid flat tappet cam with comp edm hole lifters, manley 7.900 pushrods, comp 929 springs, comp pro magnum 1.6,1.5 rockers, ARP 7/16 studs, titanium retainers and guide plates. i have 100 miles on these parts, everything matched and broken in. let me know if interested. The cmpression will vary from piston manufacturer, but a flat top with those heads and a zero decked block will give somewhere in the neighborhood of 9.8 -10.3:1. hope this helps some.
