Think you got the pictures in the wrong spots....otherwise it looks like a downgrade to me.

that does look like a downgrade. if it were me, depending on the money i would just get a headunit that plays MP3 cd's or that you could use an IPOD on.

i use MP3 cd's and can fit 150 songs on them. that is alot more than the 6 cd's that you would downgrade to.

my concern would be are the diff climate controls plug and play cause it looks to be all one piece

I believe the trim piece is one piece, but underneath it are separate units. But even if only the trim piece is different, that would make it a pain. And yeah, no thanks to a displayless unit, especially of a less-than-great brand like Blaupunkt.
