Stereo & Electronics - two 12" apline type r's vs two 12" kicker L5's

so i cant decide which set up to go with, two 12" apline type r's vs two 12" kicker L5's...

and also dont know how big of an amp to run with em, im guessing a 1500 watt amp for either set up?

Type -R set up. I have them and I love them. I have the Alpine amp to go with them. The amp is the PDX1.1000. which is a 1000 watts RMS amp. Very loud in a Camaro

I have the type r's and am very happy can't really beat 210 shipped for the pair from ebay!
