Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - SBC in fourth gen camaro

Hey guys im putting an SBC in my fourth gen and im wondering how i should set up the driverside motor mount. The holes from the LT1 dont match the holes on the SBC. Can any one help me out??

Read the thread right below this. Or buy my modded mount if you cant do it your self.

i didnt see how to mount it in the thread below. I might have missed it. I heard somewhere to use a think piece of steel and match up holes but i wanted to see if thats the best way to do it...

Yes that's what I did, TIG welded it to the factory mount then cut the factory mount

I just used the 2 on each side, it is not a track car for me so i do not think it is important, i have several people that left it alone and they have has no problems.

no problems here....im using 2 boltr right now and was using the same when previous engine threw a rod.

Why can't you use the LT1 Mounts..is it an LT1 Car that you are putting it in?

Only 2 of 3 line up with the SBC, the LT1 uses the rear two that the SBC uses and then another one further back on each side.
