Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - convert roller cam to flat tappet cam???

i was wondering what would be needed for swaping a roller cam for a hyd flat tapet cam? the problem is my 350 in the car is smoking like hell!!!!!!! and i have a roller motor sittin around but wanted to swap the stuff from my 350 into the other motor.

It fits right in. Obviously you keep the 86-up timing cover. But the cam, timing set, pushrods can all come from the old motor. If you have guided roller rockers, you may not want to use those with newer heads that have guided pushrod slots. Otherwise, have fun.

Well, if you swap the old cam out, make sure you keep all the lifters on the same lobes.

yeah i will do that, after i do a compression check on my 350 if it checks out i will probably just swap heads.
