Single Digit Club - LT4 goes 9.76

Had a chance to get out to Memphis before it got cold. Made a few hits and came up with a new best on the smallest jets I had. I made 3 passes and played with the bottle pressure alittle. First pass was a 9.96 @ 138 then dropped the tire pressure to 16psi and brought the bottle press up to 1100. Next pass was the 9.76 @ 139.7 with a 1.42 sixty. I thought that was pretty good for a 3400lb car on radials and 100 shot. What do you guys think?

You ran a 5.92@122 on a different pass????? Cause a 5.92 is way faster than 9.79 converted to 1/4 mile times...

I made a 6.055 1/8 pass and shut the car down at 800' out and coasted to the finish and ran 9.54.... And I had to pedal the car to bring the front end down which turned off my n2o system and it turned back on and reset the timing retard..... I think it would have gone 5.90 on a clean pass with no lift.... and that' like a mid 9.2-9.3....

If you went 5.92 your car is faster than 9.70's....

great job with it man..... we're going to be taking mine back to the track on the quest for an 8 second pass...

Sorry it took so long to get back on here (rough week at work). On the 5.92 pass, I had both kits on. I knew it wouldnt make it through the 1/4 on both stages so I just sprayed 100 shot. Thats why the times didnt look right. I think the 1/8 mile for the 9.76 pass was like a 6.32 or something. So yeah there is definitely room for improvement. Got to change the gear first though. Thank for the props guys!!
Oh and the 5.9 pass I was using total seal rings, I burnt a piston so I swapped to a conventional set of rings and lost a ton of low end! Gonna swap back to the gapless this winter and see if I can get into the 5.6's with some better 60's and more power in the first stage.

Its a Comp grind. If I remember right is a 255/260@.050 on a 110+4 with around .600 lift

Its only set up for n2o. It won't fall out of a tree without it! lol. I can almost dead hook it on the highway w/o the bottle on.
I ran the 1/8 one night just testing some stuff and I think it had a 1.7 sixty but it ran 104mph
