It will go the route of the Volt. Look sleek and awesome in the concept artwork. Then it will get dumbed down and look generic by the time it enters production.

GM is dying and does not have time to waste money like this.While that is likely true, they also can't afford to alienate or deny the markets where Buick is still strong such as retirement communities and China.
That Enclave is an awesome crossover and is selling fairly well.
Overall Buick might be more profitable than Pontiac. But yes, given the choice I'd rather see just Chevrolet (and the GMC truck line absorbed into Chevrolet's), Cadillac and maybe Saturn (for their more fuel efficient and quality line of smaller vehicles) remain.

think that one is nice, you should check out the riviera concept ones. Ever since the Enclave came out, Buick has been heading in the right direction style wise. The Enclave is just great.

Exactly what I was thinking. The short side windows / tall door panels make up a lot of the 'look' of the concept. Much like the Volt, side windows will increase, door panels will decrease, the "look" of the side of the car will be changed completely, and it'll look like a Malibu with a grille treatment.

"Nissan" was the first word that popped into my head when i clicked that link in the OP. decent looking car, but if a production model materializes, it won't look like that...not that 'that' is anything too special anyway, IMHO.

Your right...they were strong in the PRC unto the economic turndown...this does not mean that you cannot keep car companies in other parts of the words. We do not have Opels, Vauxhals, etc here.

I hope the interior looks better then the Lucerne interior. That was a deal breaker when we were looking at it.
