my instructions were assuming you have the proper speaker for the Trans Am Monsoon amplifier. What speaker are you currently trying to put in there, it isn't a best buy special is it? The stock speakers are 4ohm dual voice coil. If you have a 4ohm speaker you could just use one pair of wires but you will only get half the power to the speaker. I say, return the speakers and get the correct replacement.

the bazooka 6.5" subs from keeaudio.com could be a nice choice.

It was from best buy. Its some sony. I'm going to go ahead and get those subs from keeaudio. Once i get them how do i hook them up? Do they have two positive/negative connections on it?

great decision and yes, just make sure you get the DVC subs and they will have 2 sets of + and - and will be a direct replacement.

Once you get a DVC speaker; this thread has some points for an install: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-electronics/931445-bazooka-6-1-4-4-ohm-dvc-sail-panel-install-w-pics.html

The installation of the thread above is extreme. (Most people re-use the old wiring harness and many just use self-tapping screws to make new mounting holes.) However; you should pay special attention to the point about washers on the screws.
