Stereo & Electronics - radio/lights question

We installed a flip out radio in my firehawk alil while back. And ever since then my lights for ac knob defroster and all that underneath the radio dont come on. I checked to make sure the harness were hooked up and they are. So whats the next place i should look at? The radio i got was pretty technical, had a ton of wires in it. I dont have the wiring diagram for it anymore. . .

Wires may still be hooked up but it sounds like they took the POWER source away from the nobs. You would have to trace the power and see if that could be the issue.

does the radio/knobs have the same power source?

I'm not familiar with you car but they shouldn't. Im not sure how the wire harness looks for your instrument panel. May have taken the wrong power source. See if you can find the diagram online somewhere and try to retrace your steps.
