Kicker ZX400.1 is one option, delivers 400W+ at 2ohm (you can wire the subwoofer for 2ohms)

so when u match up subs with amps all u need pay attention to is the wattage and the ohms?

Also whats the difference between running a sub at 2 ohms versus 4ohms?

If you haven't figured it out yet im building my first system and don't know a lot.

Yes, watts and ohms, mono block or multi-channel also brand quality! Amps have different outputs at different ohm loads. 2ohms puts out more wattage than 4ohms. 4ohms is usually what the RMS wattage is rated at. Also are you only getting 1 sub?
