Stereo & Electronics - sail panel speakers?

Just wondering if anyone has cut out the sail panel area? To add larger speakers. If so, what size speakers did you go with. Also did it make enough of a difference to make it worth it?

I'm thinking 8", 5"-6"x7"-8", 6"x9", etc. I was maybe going to do some 5"x7" components. Just not sure if it's worth going bigger than 6 1/2" 's.

6.5" speakers will work fine, if you want more bass then add a subwoofer in the back (stealth box if you don't want to lose any hatch space)
