dlove has none of what you listed, (why would you?)
and still managed to get his Z at one point to around 2700 lbs. Its a lil heavier now that I got ahold of it.:chug:

correct. It is now 2850 with me in and a 6 point. New weight to come in a few days, as I'm doing drag brakes and adding a 12 bolt.
What really saves weight on my car was going to a powerglide, and keeping the 10 bolt for as long as I could. You don't have to really cut up the car to save weight either. Just dont leave any nut or bracket behind.
I think with a 6 point you could get down to about 25xx race.
