NMCA C4/C5/C6 Corvette Shootout - Where to find Actual "Rumble" Rules?

Jeff -
It is getting pretty close to May and I'm starting to put my Vette back together for the 2009 season. I looked for the actual rules covering the Bowling Green, Ky upcoming event and all I could find were "GENERAL OVERVIEW" Corvette Rumble (Index) Class" rules, on all the various sites.
Can you direct us where to find the actual rules that will be used for this Shootout Event?
Thanks

Jeff -
THERE ARE NO SPECIFIC RULES POSTED ANYWHERE ONLY THE "GENERAL OVERVIEW" which appears to be an outline of the rules!
If the "General Overview" is actually the OFFICIAL rules then please say so and don't leave us with the impression that there is another set of rules floating around somewhere!
What Edgar linked to was the "General Overview" on the NMCA website!
If you go on the NMCA main website and track down the rules for ALL THE CLASSES, the Corvette Shootout shows only a "GENERAL OVERVIEW" and even the Hot Rod Magazine posts specific detailed rules for their event at ZMAX!!
Gee according to the "General Overview" I could run Plexiglass and not Factory Glass (Just One Example). I don't think a complete set of rules were ever drafted for this event unless the "General Overview" is designed to be the OFFICIAL rules. If that is the case I see a lot of areas where the playing field will be in question at the event, and I am sure you don't want people showing up with cars built on a loose interpretation of the "GENERAL OVERVIEW" just so they can "Be The Quickest Corvette In The Country". See if I run Plexiglass I can shave about 100 lbs off the "Barbie Vette's" weight, OR maybe I will run a TH400 in place of my 4L60E which came in the car, OR maybe I'll run only ONE fiberglass seat without apolstery. You can go on and on looking at the "GENERAL OVERVIEW"!

Hey buddy I already printed them out. I will be setting the "Barbie Vette" up around those rules. I stuffed a copy in the ole "glove box" so if anyone bitches they'll be handy!! It just makes me nervous that they are titled "GENERAL OVERVIEW" which leads me to believe the "Real Specific Rules" are floating around somewhere and at the last minute will magically appear! These are the SAME rules the Memphis "Shootout" uses but that event is strictly an INDEX competition NOT a "quickest car competition" like the Saturday qualifying rounds are which departs somewhat from the Sunday Index Competition - RUMBLE RUMBLE

See You There - It will be fun for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are the rules. I would consider Lexan as not being stock appearing or stock Bodied. The intent of the class is to have the average Joe of the Street that has a fast bolt on corvette come out and play. Lexan is not permitted in any of our classes except Super Street and Pro Street.

Hey Jeff -
Thanks for the "Heads Up". I'm not sure anybody even makes Lexan parts for Late Model Corvettes. Although it's tempting because the C5 Coupe Back Windows are really heavy!
If you run a supercharger or turbocharger can you also spray Nitrous or Alcohol?
See You In May

Looks like there will be NO spraying of "Windshield Washer Solvent" containing alcohol at this event, and I don't think there will be many cars with "Funny Car" style cages either!!
Thanks For The Info.

Jeff -
One last thing (hopefully) I assume all after market seats must be properly fixed to the cage per NHRA rules, but can we run just one OEM seat during qualifying rounds??? (I didn't see that in the posted rules)

Looks like I will just keep it turned down and only run 1 power adder... I am only doing a 10 point cage.
