I had a great time today at Runday sunday, Got a new PB and finally got the in-car video to work! :hb was great seeing everyone out there today!

Suspension is: stock springs, stock shocks, stock rear sway bar & stock pan hard. BMR LCA's, BMR torque arm. (it only pulls these 60's on good track prep days like runday sundays, not on a normal test and tune)

its a 383 ci, 5.3 truck heads, fast 90/90 and a TH350 tranny with an FTI 5200 TC. race weight around 3650.

also, picking up 26 mph out the backhalf is right for a mid to high 9 second type stuff for a TH400/350 etc cars

What brand converter? I'm looking to do a healthy shot on my car. With it being a glide car, I think a converter like that would be right up my alley.

call up greg at FTI converters. second to none. they are a sponsor as well.

Yea thats what I was thinking cause I was at 105 in the 1/8 but 137 alomost 138 in the 1/4.

But once again awesome running car! left really nice too! I wish mine would leave like that maybe I could sneek into the 9's.

26 MPH is right on target. I trap 102.xx in the 1/8 and 128.xx in the 1/4. Nice ride!

That's it... that's a really good match is what I thought when I saw the thread.

And to have that little done..... well luck must be involved I dunno what else to say. Unles you're prep down there is really that much beter then it is up here in new england. Which, I wouldn't doubt to be true at some extent as well.

I wish I could get my car to ET like it mph's. Best I've seen is a 9.53, and it's been going 142.5+ :(

But, to the thread starter... good job! You've done something that we all try to do but rarely accomplish.. you are going fast, with bare minimum $ spent :drive:

Thanks! ya, could never get my 9 second tag to work. I'd say maybe 2 thousand miles on the motor, I don't drive her to much, but the the motor probaby has well over 100 passes on it, most being nitrous passes.
