I have a brand new Cam in my truck, I bough a new Engine and i'm doing a fresh rebuild on the bottom end and top ( pistons crank rods etc..) Now I have maybe 200-300 miles on the cam at tops, I took it on the street a few times other then that I have maybe 10 passes on the cam. Would it be safe to transfer it over to the new motor? and if so what other peices will need to be transfered over due to the wear and etc.
Thank you very much.

It will transfer over just fine so long as you keep each lifter matched to where it rides against the cam. If you don't have the lifter's in the same order as how they came out you will have to buy a new set and break the cam back in. Other than that I would put new parts in everywhere else.

Perfect, Yeah I was just worried about the cam since I just paid 180 for it lol. I'm on a budget and I need every Dime i can spare. What about my Rockers? they are almost brand new also. they are 1.7's. they were like 300 dollars for the set lol

as long as the heads have the same stud size, you should be fine in transferring them over
