So my goal is to go 11s. high, mid, low 11s makes no dif. The fastest so far is 13.4 @ 99mph w/ 1.8xx 60ft with the 700r4. I was able to get a 1.7xx 60ft but missed a shift.

My current setup is pretty basic, 350 block stock bore, flat tops, 64cc iron heads,1.6" rr, a hydraulic roller cam 212/218 @50 ~.500 lift,6a msd, cheapy summitracing brand shorty heades and lt1 intake conversion with the tpi computer. 3" borla catback, gutted out cat, t56, 3.73, adjustable torque arm, LCA, relocation LCA, KyB shocks, 275/50r15 mickey thompson
My comp. is around 9.5:1

I plan on:
1- replace Fuel Injection with a carb.

2- replace my badflowing heads with pro-comp 190cc 64cc aluminum heads.

3-replace headers with shorty 1 5/8"

4-replace cam with bigger one

5- replace dizzy with http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...1%7C240%3A1318

My Qs are

1- should i go with an air gap intake mani or victor jr mani?
2- should i mill the 64cc heads down to 58cc or 60cc or 62cc?
3- will a 750cfm double pumper be enough?
4- what cam specs would i benefit from? hydraulic roller? flat tappet?

1-RPM airgap
2-60cc
3-vacuum secondary is fine for the street and strip when tuned right
4-comp cam XE288HR

With the cam i mentioned, a good set of heads and a 383 stroker kit make over 500 HP, so subtract the extra cubes and i am assuming you are using a stock head, you might get over 400 HP, but it wont get you 11s till you get a better set of heads and stroke it up. Unless you have a low race weight.

are you referring to the pro comp heads as not a good set or my stock iron?
i did a research on the procomp heads and they have a good reputation, and the price makes them even better, i know there are better options but i would like to give these bad boys a try.

is the cam that you were talking about the XR288HR? i went to the comp cam site and found nothing on XE288HR. I couldnt find any specs on either tho.
