We've been doing a tune up on my buddies 82 crossfire injected vette. We pulled the smog stuff off and now set the time to stock spec. Which is 6 before but it will idel a while then begin to die out. We've looked for vacum leaks, and wore my brain out thinking of what it could be. Any input???

Seriously those things were so bad..Id think about converting to a carb set up..they were notorious for catching on fire. I had an 82 z28 with crossfire that sat more than it moved ...till i sold it.

I guess the first place I would look is the IAC. After that, maybe the fuel pressure regulator. Is it giving any codes? If you keep your foot on the gas, will it continue to run?

The crossfire isn't going to set the world on fire in stock form. However, there are a few guys on thirdgen.org who have some good running setups. Hop on that site and post your problem.
