Stereo & Electronics - 12 Disc CD Changer Not Working

Hi Guys,

Need your help big time. I have a 2000 Z28 that came with a Monsoon and factory 12 disc changer. I originally installed an aftermarket stereo. I recently sold my aftermarket head unit and put the factory one back in until I can afford a new one. Stereo works fine, but I can't get the changer to work. When I open the door to the changer, the magazine won't come out. I'm pretty sure it's getting power. Anyone know what it could be, or how to fix it?

My cartridge gets jammed from time to time. I just have to push on it a few time and it will finally eject itself. There is a light at the bottom of the door where the cartridge goes that should light up when you open the door. So double check to make sure it's coming on to make sure you have power.

there is also a little white plastic clip at the top of the magazine that holds it in. if you push that up and gently pry out the magazine nothing will get hurt.
