Well I wanted to make a new post on this without a date that way people wouldn't get confused with thinking we were all talking about an old meet date, but since the weather has thrown us a curve ball today :mad:, I wanted to let everyone know that there is a group of us that hang out at the Sonics in Brownstown, PA Sunday nights starting at 5PM.

Here I sit, building a website for work, looking out the window, and wishing I was there. :(

i will have to venture up to there every now and then on sundays...I am only 20 mins from there....

We usually get a decent amount of people out the last few weeks, but it would be cool to get it packed every week. If you do show up at 5 and no one is there yet, don't just run off people will start rolling in shortly after that. Usually at least 2 or 3 of us get there right at 5:00. We typically have a mix of cars - a few Fbods/Vettes, old school muscle, Evos, bikes, etc.

Well neither can I, so join us from the York County Corvette Club for a day of fun, fun, fun ! Lets be honest. No other club plans an event on this date so you have no excuse that you cant make it.

Before I forget, there will be a special Mother's Day Class for for all lady drivers.

Registration opens at 8 am and closes at 10 am. Fee is $20. Trophy Presentation is at 1:30 pm. We will wrap up early so all of us can get home in plenty of time to see what the little lady cooked up over a hot stove for supper. I would not count on that.

How was the turnout today? The wife woke me up around 12:30 and we went for a bike ride up to Mount Gretna. Heading out now to do a little cruising though. Really nice out!

Yeah i agree really lame. Over 40 cars out last nite. Lots of pulls on the mexican mile with some fast cars. People were checking each others cars out instead of sitting in one spot acting like they wouldnt mind seeing what some else had to offer on the table for doing a pull or just like what they've done to their cars.

z28misfit i have to say you have reached a new high for being a tool today. Sorry we didnt go check yours out and you felt left out due to this. However the more and more people we get coming out the better. We appreciate all kinds that come out and like to have fun and respect each others cars. It appears it keeps getting better and better IMO. The supra that pulled up was a 80's celica supra with the newer 2JZ motor single turbo, ford 9in rear and auto trans putting out well over 400rwhp in something you wouldnt expect to be pulling mid 11's or better. Maybe you want to put your car up against one and get :confused: at what just walked all over you? ;) Just busting balls and dont get upset. If you can recommend a better place to go hang out and not get kicked out, have fun, food, and very close mexican mile by all means tell us??? IF NOT COME ON OUT OR NOT!!! We wont miss you :engarde:

Thats my buddy Jesse, APS twin turbo built motor with 19" Volk TE37 Time Attacks and a few carbon fiber accents. Thing is, the turbos are tucked under so far, you can't even see them from the engine bay lol. All you can see is the intercooler piping and thats about it lol.

Well let me give the run down of the real run downs.
First I let G8 owners of the world know they suck at life and they're slowwwww!!!!
Then I ran into a Ferrari on mexican mile and as soon as i started pulling pretty hard he backed out of it at about 110mph.

Chef and I did a 2nd gear kick down at 48-49mph to 125mph we came up on traffic. He started about a half car back and only lost about a car lengthish or less. So good fun. Those cobra's tuned by Johnny Lightning are a tough contendor on the street due to the instant torque.
