Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - i need a carb for my setup

hello, so i need a carb for my setup, as of right now i have 350 with .212/.218 .488.488 and a comp of 9.5:1 and a rpm air gap. I am interested in a holley 750cfm dp.
Its my weekend/strip car which i'm converting from fuel injection.

my question is when i tried to look up holley 750 a few diferent unes came up but i cannot find a dif. between them, the p/n listed on holley's site is 0-4779S and 0-4779C
I beleive those are the dual pumper 750cfm 4150 hp.

the other 750s were for competition racing and marines.
I have a t56 and 3.73s idk if that makes a dif.

On a side note im building a 383, 288hr, and afr 195s so i will need the better carb for it.

ive heard nothing but good things about holley's carbs but if you think there is a better out there for me please let me know. And i would like as much help as possible thanks in advance

I would go with a 650 dp if it is a stick car

Do a 650 vac secondary, i use a 750 vac sec for my cammed moors, a 750 is overkill for you till you get the bigger motor.

mmmhmmm, thats sounding like i would have to buy another carb when i put my 383 in.

i didnt wanna do that because my 383 is only like 5 months away and didnt wanna spend the money on something i wont need.

There you go then, you aswered your own question. I hae several cars, so a extra smaller carb laying around is no big deal, you will just have to tune it down for the small engine.

Looks like: 0-4779S is Zinc finished and 0-4779C is classic finish.

oOoO, i cant beleive i didnt look at the pictures this time, now that you mentioned that thats the only diff. between the two pics.
