Trickflow Specialties is proud to announce the latest addition to our growing lineup of cylinder heads for LSX 6 bolt engines, the LSX-R heads.
This new head is designed for the professional cylinder head porter and is only offered bare, unported with interlocking seats and guides. The valve guides are .308" ID and can be sized to 5/16" or 8mm.
One of the many new features is a +.500" raised valve cover rail.

Notice the new reinforced water jacket holes and interlocking seats. The smaller water holes make the deck more rigid and allow more distance for the largest head gasket bores. The interlocking ductile iron seats are 2.200"/1.680" in diameter.

These heads can be run with +.100" 8mm valves for hydraulic roller applications to yield a 1.800" installed height. A standard 5.160" length 5/16" stem diameter valve yields a 2.00" installed height with a Comp retainer and 5/16" lock.
The part # for these new heads is TFS-306003-PC05 and the retail price is $682.95 each.
