its electric, you just push a button inside your car and it goes from muffled to open headers in a few seconds. i had a set on my 76, they were really nice! dmh is also the best brand out there

Yea,just one, if your car is an fbody you will only need one, unless you installed true duels.

I have dual cutouts on my 01 ws6 and I have the factory style exhaust. It looks like I wont need it either, The blade blew off mine when I got on it.

they must of been welded into the Y pipe, thats the only place before the muffler you could have duel.
