New design of engine. Great photos...

Our favorite engine at the 2009 SAE (http://jalopnik.com/tag/2009-sae/) World Congress was this awesome piece of engineering from Vengeance Power (http://jalopnik.com/tag/vengeance-power/). It borrows concepts from several different kinds of engines and improves on them in certain aspects. Think of it like a sliding vane superchager improved in every possible way and made to burn fuel.

We're gonna need a bigger car... Wow, only 9 moving parts, pretty awesome

now does it work? thats the main question, i want to see this thing in a vehicle that can be driven, hopefully its not another sham that can never be used like the MYTE engine

interesting, i'd like to have seen an exploded view or cut-away of it .

Need more info on it. It claims that no transmission is needed but it sounds like that thing can't spin up very fast so...? I dunno.
cool though

It isn't very big I believe it should be able to spin up relatively fast. It's just a turbine but like all turbines they don't get good efficiency and power without high rpm. I wonder about the torque number at that speed.

what really kills me is that they claim 80% the cost of a conventional piston heat engine. look at all of the machining done on it. I dont know about that..........

So GM needs this...
