The Trans Am was always over the top except for the 4th gens . Not really my style but if it brings the T/A back then I am all for it.

me as well... they need to do something about those headlights and fog lamps, they look like 1990-ish (have to work in HIDs somehow) other than that I like

The first pic looks good, after that, it's pretty much downhill.

Is it me, or does that design look very similar to a Mustang...? Especially from the top. Obviously the front is different.

Of particular note is the Publishers note stating that 80 percent of the write ins would do away with Pontiac. It doesn't state that the people writing in, don't buy American in the first place and have no business chimming in.

Thats a real bummer:mad:. Another Iconic American car Company is going down the tubes. Ive had more than one of every generation of Firebird, and liked them a little more than the equivalent Camaro. Thanks to the Government, the UAW, GM mgt, and the public a great American car company is going down. Long live Pontiac, drinks are in order:chug:.

I love it, very different! Honestly it would deffinately have an identity all its own! It wouldnt even get confused for a camaro. Im not saying a better design cant be had, but i like it.

Maybe if some company could not fuck it up and actually come out with a good solid concept I could see an attempt at bringing it back. All the concepts or ideas of a new Firebird/Trans Am either are totally butchered like this one or resemble the Camaro in some way and that kills it.

B. ANYONE who would buy it and thinks they now have a 5th gen T/A is just fucking kidding themselves, especially with Pontiac now being defunct.

The front and the rear seemed to be to emphasized, like someone else had said...cartoon like. Kind of reminds me of some of a hot wheel cars.
