Take a look at the stuff I posted on http://www.houston-f-body.org in the tech section... should have what you need...

I am curious about this one myself. If I find anything useful I will forward it to you...

I checked the Houston f-body site, and I did not find JACK pertaining to an amp install on the Monsoon.

I'm planning on adding a amp and sub box too. Which wires did you splice into for the line level converter? I think the sub output wires of the monsoon amp would be the best place to connect the line converter because I think the amp has a crossover built into it. I got the PAC SNI-35 which works from 2-40 watts rms so hopefully the amp output line is 40watts or less. Does anybody know if this will work ok?

It should be a great improvement over the head units power

All you need is the PAC OEM1. It simply plugs directly into the headunit's harness and gives you RCAs. No splicing needed. Run the RCAs to the rear of the car and hook up the amp as you would with any other car.

To run the power wire through the firewall, use the hole behind the PCM. It's VERY easy. Simply unbolt the two bolts holding the PCM (10mm?) and move it aside. Then you'll see a large rubber grommit with a few wires going through it. You can squeeze any size wire through there. I ran my 1/0awg through there. Come out undernearth the glove box and right where the carpet starts. Perfect.
