I have an 87 GTA and i just dropped in a 383. my problem is that the stock tranny filler tube will not fit flush with the trany. the tube fits so tight- its right up against the head and the header. has anyone dealt with this problem or know of an after market tube that will fit? this is my last step of a loooong swap! please help me get this thing on the road!!!

well you already spent money on the swap. get the pry bar open the wallet one last time and get a flexable one from like miloden or something =) enjoy your stroker motor

what motor and tranny came out of the car? if it's the same tranny and and the same type motor, 350/305, then you must have bent the tube during removal. if it was a v6 then the motor is not in the same location and you would need a v8 dipstick tube to bolt to the block or head or buy a flexible dipstick like mentioned above.
