Stock LS2 shortblock
AFR 205s milled to 63cc
.040 Cometic 4.130 gasket
Does this put me around 11.3:1?

That is a bit higher than I thought it was. Still runs good on 93 but my DCR calculations are off if it really is 11.6:1

The only variable is piston-to-deck height. I estimated based on blueprint specs, so if it's different let me know and I'll recalculate. Other than that, it is what it is.

I don't know the exact spec, but if it is say -.006 instead of -.009 that would only be a difference of 11.56-11.61. Thanks for you help.

Performance Trends sure does have some great software and hardware tools. I own and use almost every piece of software they have. The above information was generated with Compression Ratio Calculator Plus v2.3.
If you want to check out some real awesome software look at Engine Analyzer Pro and Suspension Analyzer.

To accurately measure deck height, you will need a deck bridge with 2 dial indicators. If it is a stock shortblock, you are ~.007-.009 positive (out of the hole)

Piston deck height or block deck height?
