Stereo & Electronics - Best security for my camaro

I live in New Orleans, the most stolen cars here are f-bodies and I'm looking to get a security system this weekend. Any suggestions on the best security system?

I installed ravelco's and viper's in all my truck and suvs.

dont forget install a kill switch as well. look into a lo-jack system; it might be worth it if you live in NOLA

Wire up a switch with a relay to cut off the fuel pump when the switch is off. Place switch in discrete and easily accessible location. Flip switch off when parking in bad areas, or all the time as I did.

if a thief wants your car, he will get it. my brother had his 94 integra gsr stolen in front of my house a few years ago. he had an alarm, a club on the steering wheel, a club on the clutch, and a kill switch.

where i live, hondas here are like f-bodies in NOLA. the local honda forums have a section dedicated to stolen hondas

Viper Car alarms are amazing, I have the 5701 system w/ remote start. Best investment ever made.

^ I second that Ive got the viper 5601 which is the same but wiothout the led indicator lights. Got it for 130 off amazon and local swap shop installed for 80 bucks...The remote start is cool as hell too.

Oh, and an alarm made by any one of the DEI companies (viper, clifford, python) to let you know when to start shooting.
