11 Second Club - can i make it

i just can seem to get that 11 second pass i think the car can do it so far my best was a 12.2@118 with a 2.1 60 and a 12.4 @118 with a 2.3 60 the car is a 2000 m6 z28 with TR raptor cam, 3:73 gear LTs ory slp loudmouth... the car also has a 100 shot of nitrous but i have yet to spray because i have trac issuse as so as it is i run with a set of goodyear eagle ss drag radials and it still doesnt hook??? what do i need to hit 11s

those 60 ft times are terrible did you try airing the tires down to at least 15 psi? did you take the front sway bar off? that helps with launching

You're just going to have to play with the tire pressure and your launch technique. Practice, practice, practice, you'll figure it out.

Put an auto in it

my auto cut a 2.0 60 on 235 street tires rear gear was 3.23 .....

Yeah practice more and if all else fails pick up some Mickey Thompson's and pray the rear end holds :D haha. Goodluck it definitly has 11's in it!!!

just need more practice. I was in the same boat as you. best time was an 11.98 at 118 on a 1.81 60 ft time. I have since switched to a TH350 with a nice sized stall. Im going to the track next weekend, so we will see how it does with the auto :) Just get your launch down and you will have a nice 11 second pass.

thanks i guess i will just have to practice and drop the pressure more i havent tried to take the front sway bar off so iill have to do that and see what happens.. before the cams i had no problem i was cutting 1.9 60s all day no it just seems like if i dont just pull out it is spinning all of first so i peddle it and i havent seen a better 60 than a 2.1 with the cam
