Okay so Installing the CDA-105 this weekend and was wandering what all additional things I will need?

Do I need an Antenna adapter or wiring adapter for the new Aftermarket HU?

Or is it simple plug and play?

Anything other special details i need to know to swap the stock monsoon HU for Aftermarket?

Where do i find the peice that allows me to continue to have the steering wheel controls functional?

You will need:
1. a mounting kit for the dash to adapt the single DIN size Alppine to the 1.5 DIN factory opening
2. a wiring harness adapter to connect the Alpine without butchering the factory wiring. You splice the adapter harness to the HU wiring and then it will plug in to the factory harness
3. an antenna adapter because the GM antenna has a smaller than standard plug on it.

The steering wheel control adapter is the SWI-JACK. It plugs into the remote port on the back of the HU and connects to the blue wire in the factory radio harness (as well as power and ground). There is also a universal adapter SWI-X that uses infrared like a TV remote but the hardwired SWI-JACK works better and is much easier to install.
