im in the process to reassemble my cylinder heads for my new build, now im a bit confused of where the VS shims r suppose to be positioned, should they be placed under the VS locator or on top of the locator, just in between the spring and locator :confused:

Put the shims under the locator. The locator is harder than the shim and it will keep shim material from being abraded into the oil by the spring.
