Next week I'll be in possesion of just rebuilt 355. The rebuilders said it had all stock GM components and couldn't really give me any specs on the engine. I'm looking at the 383 rotating assembly kits, and I was wondering if anyone had any good experience with a certain brand or if there was some I should stay away from? Also looking for some at the crank numbers with the type of setup you guys have if you wouldn't mind, thanks.
I have a Eagle rotating assembly, forged 4340. Crank is supposed to be good for 1,000+hp and the rods for 750hp. Round $1500 or so, no problem so far. JE SRP Pistons/rings on the top. Haven't dynoed it but it's over 600 w/o the new cam/nitrous.
Lunati is probably better, but really expensive. For a street motor I think the Eagle kits are fine.

What Cam/Heads/Intake/Carb are you running? What kind of tranny do you have and what stall? Had it down the track any? I'd like to get that much power out of mine, though, I don't know if I want to spend over 3000 or so for engine, is that possible?

I'm also running a Eagle rotating assembly in my 383.
Works pretty good for me, put a set of Partiot 195cc heads on top. Motor pulls pretty strong.
